Presenter Bio: Carl Pritchard is a lecturer, author, and recognized fixture in the project management community. He has spoken to audiences around the globe, with an emphasis on communications, leadership and risk management. He is the U.S. Correspondent for the British project management magazine, Project Manager Today, and serves on the board of directors of ProjectConnections.com He has written seven project management textbooks, created two Windows apps, and developed a PMP Certification Exam Prep practice website. He has been a PMP for 23 years, and was the second PMI-RMP certified on the planet.

What many managers fail to realize is that if you want someone to remember what you told them, you need a story. If you want someone to understand your perspective, you need a story. If you want to appear empathetic or receive empathy, you need a story. Want to lead? Want to understand or be understood? Want to get others on board for a strategy? Stories. Stories. Stories. Sadly most of us go through life without any real coaching in storytelling. No one lets us know how to do it well, briefly, and powerfully. In this powerful presentation, Carl Pritchard not only shares how to tell stories more effectively, but also where to find the stories that will truly hit home.
