Feedback is the essential component of effective project communications, whether it’s between the PM and the team members or  the PM and the stakeholders. Giving and receiving feedback ensures that the intent of the communication is received, and helps prevent distortion from personal filters and defensive behaviors. This presentation will provide methods to ensure the intent of your project communications are achieved.

Learning Objectives:

  • List the 5 process components of communication.
  • Explain the importance of closing the loop, or feedback in the communication process.
  • List 3 common types of feedback.
