Presenter: Ms. Ann Murdoch, PMP
Presenter Bio:
Ann Murdoch has moved audiences with her engaging and accessible, yet unflinching, story of her struggle and ultimate victory over gender dysphoria. Through the use of storytelling she presents a compelling case for why inclusive policies benefit everyone and the lifesaving effects of tolerance and compassion. Her keynote and workshop presentations inspire audiences to welcome challenges and change in their lives. We all experience transitions in life, whether personal or professional, and they do not have to be paralyzing. Ever.
Presentation Abstract:
The pace of change and level of complexity are growing exponentially. Business and organizations that aren’t agile and innovative quickly get left behind in this fast moving environment. Ann Murdoch uses her personal story, professional experience and research to help leaders harness the full power of diverse and inclusive teams to solve complex problems, excel in dynamic environments, and be resilient.
Ms. Murdoch won awards and accolades in her military career, despite her constant struggle with gender dysphoria. She knows what it is like to hide one’s authentic self, as well as finding the courage to live and work authentically. She lays out what it takes to achieve “operational inclusion” while her unflinching emotional honesty inspires and uplifts.
