Presenters: Mr. Frank DiBartolomeo (PMP, Distinguished Toastmaster, CSEP)

Presenter Bio:

Frank DiBartolomeo is an award-winning speaker, presentation and interview skills coach, and Professional Member of the National Speakers Association. He has developed and honed his extensive public speaking and leadership expertise over his 40-year career, both in military service, government contractor, and business owner. Because of his outstanding work in public speaking and leadership, in 2002, Frank was awarded Toastmasters International’s highest individual award – Distinguished Toastmaster. 

Frank retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1999 as a Lieutenant Colonel.  His expertise as an engineer, technical leader, and networker in military service and industry led to a variety of leadership assignments as a program manager and senior systems engineer, including positions at the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Pentagon, and, in industry, as the Deputy Lead Engineer of a 300-person national security program. He is a PMI member and holds the PMP certification.  Frank is also a member of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) and has the Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification. He has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s of Information Technology degree.

Frank founded DiBartolomeo Consulting International (DCI), LLC in 2007.  The mission of DCI is to help technical professionals inspire, motivate, and influence their colleagues and other technical professionals through improving their presentation skills, communication, and personal presence.

Presentation Abstract:

Fresh off his first published book ‘Speak Well and Prosper’ earlier this year, we are happy to have Mr. DiBartolomeo with us as your featured speaker. Through a distinguished and well decorated Air Force career to close out the 20th century, he was exposed to many different leadership perspectives and foundations. In the military, verbal leadership stands out and he will share what it is so important that leaders speak at a high proficiency level. Thus far in the 21st century, he has mastered his craft and will share his proven techniques to speak at an effective level that aligns with great leadership. Masterful public speaking can never be 100% perfected as there are always tweaks and different shifts to improve upon any given audience, you will learn why it is so important to be committed to your speaking proficiency and receive recommendations on practicing and ensuring continual improvement.
