Disciplined Agile originated in 2012 back when Mark Lines and Scott Ambler authored ‘Disciplined Agile Delivery’. In 2019, PMI Global acquired the Disciplined Agile framework from the authors and in 2020, launched Certifications and a training curriculum.  We have learned from past Chapter presentations on what the framework is and the curriculum of it but how does it actually work?  Join us as we welcome PMI Future 50 Recipient Ms. Krystal Brady who will share her DA successes within her work at the American Society of Clincial Oncology where she utilized the  full quiver of agile tools and frameworks available in her Digital Transformation role to ensure DA was successful and improved upon the overall development practices. Her work also increased the community culture within her staff which paid dividends outside of just the project success.

Krystal Brady has been PMP-certified in project management for more than 10 years, and has over 20 years of experience in the profession. She was selected in September of 2023 by PMI Global as a recipient of their PMI Future 50 joining 49 other Rising Leaders who are transforming the world and reshaping the future through projects.  Krystal’s past projects include website redesigns, mobile applications, and online learning platforms, using varied software development methodologies. Krystal is also certified as a Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master and a Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant. In her current role, she is driving digital and cultural transformation. Her work includes projects to upgrade legacy systems to the latest in modern architecture and user design, leading her organization in the adoption of disciplined agile, creating an outside-in mindset with business stakeholders, and establishing value streams that achieve customer delight.
