Presentation Abstract:
he Project Management Day of Service (PMDoS) was an idea of having seasoned project managers assist non-profits in need of the skillset & perspective that came about at a happy hour, leading to their Inaugural event in 2015. Fast forward 5 years to February 2020 and their sixth event in the National Capital Region (NCR) is upon us, not to mention the events they have had throughout the world. Learn from the Project Management For Change (PM4C) team on the history of the event, why they are so passionate about the cause and the art of the possible for what the organization can do in their next five years.
Presentation Biography:
Ms. Beth May has been a chapter member since 2014. She has served as the Project Manager and Event Lead for the Project Management Day of Service (PMDoS) since 2017 and is the President of the Toastmasters Frederick, MD Club since July of this year. As a 30 year IT Government Services veteran, Ms. May has seen the Program/Project Management industry mature and has grown along with it.
