The 2022-2023 High School Scholarship Program

The Project Management Institute (PMI), with more than 700,000 global members, credential holders and volunteers in 210 countries and territories, is the largest not-for- profit membership association dedicated to advancing the state of the art of project management. A vital and forward-thinking organization, PMI is comprised of over 280 local chapters internationally and 30 communities of practice. The local Montgomery County Chapter membership is over 2,000 and represents project managers in government, industry and academia. To introduce graduating high school seniors to information on this profession and better prepare them for project management as a potential future career, the PMI Montgomery County MD Chapter has established a college scholarship program. Our goal is to offer some financial assistance to two graduating high school seniors to pursue further education. One of these will be open to all qualifying high school seniors. The other scholarship will be open to the children and grandchildren of PMI Montgomery County MD Chapter members.
