These efforts are ineffectual\, often lacking any consistent standards or a cohesive long-term talent management strategy.For years\, we have seen in the value\, mission\, and vision statements of many organizations the\nwords “people first.” Yet when you have a conversation with the average employee\, he or she often does not feel as if he or she is first at all. Today\, Mr. Michael Taylor and Ms. Adrienne Somerville will offer the establishment of a new standard of ensuring employees\, at all levels\, know they represent the organization’s most valuable resource: its talent! In essence\, people are the bedrock of all organizations\, upon which talent management and all other company enablers rests. \nMr. Taylor and Ms. Somerville will share the top talent management concepts\, and encourage\nparticipants like you to take the necessary action to spearhead your professional talent management initiative for your individual gain\, while promoting talent management\nthroughout your company for its organizational gain. \nLastly\, Michael and Adrienne will also convey the need to not only understand talent\nmanagement but the data and its organizational value.
