Sipe and Don M. Frick in their book ‘Seven\nPillars of Servant Leadership; Practicing the Wisdom of Leading by Serving‘ state that servant leaders must be:\n\nPeople of character\nPut people first\nBe skilled communicators\nBe compassionate collaborators\nHave & display foresight\nBe systems thinkers\nLead with moral authority\n\nThe servant leader must also pursue truth in an impartial and unbiased way.  Finding truth is often a real challenge. \nIn this session we as the PMI Montgomery County MD Chapter will explore the difference between truth\, perception and deception as it relates to servant leadership and the challenges leaders have in identifying and support truth first as they make difficult decisions on their projects. \n\nPresenters Bio:  \nJoseph (Joe) D. Launi\, PMP\, is the President of Project Management Experts which specializes in providing progressive project management\, agile\, leadership\, and\nstrategic and business management training.  PME offers over 300 instructor-led and e-learning courses that can be taken on-demand. His experience encompasses over 35\nyears managing projects\, leading project management offices\, conducting project management training and improving project management processes.
