DESCRIPTION:Join the next Project Management Night Out event focused on project management in scientific research with guest speaker Samuel Okpechi\, Ph.D.\, a post doc fellow at the Frederick National Laboratory’s Cancer Research Technology Program. His presentation will shed light briefly on the historical context of project management and elaborate on the need for proper management in guiding projects to successful completion. This presentation will also carefully explain the dynamics of project management and how it is practiced in biomedical research laboratories to foster scientific breakthroughs. \nThe Frederick National Laboratory in partnership with the Hood College Graduate School is pleased to offer an in-person project management seminar and networking event. \nHeavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. \nPDU: 1.0 Power Skills \nThe event costs $20 per person.
