Presenter Bio: Natalya H. Bah is an instructor at Montgomery College where she teaches Project Management courses. She also serves as an Action Learning Coach and instructor for leadership programs, created Change Management Workshops aimed at employees and leaders, provides self-assessments and leads dynamic team building sessions. Ms. Bah is a self-employed business owner providing coaching, training and consulting services and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Creator of the Define and Achieve Your Goals Process™ and a certified Birkman Method© Consultant, she received her Master of Science degree in Project Management from George Washington University.
Presentation Abstract:
What makes some people more successful than others? Can it be something as simple as having a different mindset? Three success mindsets will be highlighted in this session. Real examples of the mindsets of perspective, passion and purpose contributing to success will be provided. This interactive session will encourage audience members to measure their own mindsets and will show the direct link to their success as project managers. Successful individuals also tend to utilize the success accelerators of preparation, positivity and perseverance. Real examples of successful individuals utilizing these items will be provided along with activities for audience members to strengthen their own accelerators. How these accelerators can directly contribute to the role of a project manager will also be outlined. Additionally, audience members will be challenged to extend the concept of Success Mindsets and Success Accelerators to their project team members to help contribute to project success. Participants will leave armed with tools to empower their whole project team.
