Presentation Abstract:  (worth 1 PDU – Talent Triangle – Strategic & Business Management)

One does not usually think of design as being part of the project manager’s job, but using a design mindset can be a highly effective way to solve problems. In this talk, Dr. Armstrong will provide an introduction to design thinking, and participants will engage in a design thinking exercise where they will learn some of the most common techniques. Through this exercise, they will discover that design thinking integrates well with agile methods. When used together, these approaches result in superior products.
