June 6th, 2018 PMI Project Showcase

Wednesday, June 6th 5:40pm to 6:30pm

Topic: Global Customer Service transformation program case study
- Planning is everything. The plan is nothing –

Presenter: Mr. Steven Gruyters (PMP, Prince2)

Presentation Summary:

We will take an 'in the trenches' look at the ups and downs, the pivots and the ultimate success of the large scale digital transformation program for a $2.5 billion global customer service business. The program was the first large scale Agile program for a Global Top 3 Medical Device manufacturer, and the first combination of Agile and Computer Software Validation (CSV) for regulatory compliance (FDA CFR 21) within the company. At the start of the program this was the largest global implementation of Salesforce Service cloud. We will answer the question on how this program took a year longer and spent millions of dollars more than planned, yet was still viewed as the 'gold standard' of how large transformation programs should be run in the enterprise.
