The disciplines of quality management and project management cross over on a daily basis. Organizations from PMI Global to Montgomery County’s own Fitzgerald Auto Malls pride themselves on holding the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification. A proper project management plan can ease the ISO 9001 path to certification. Join Matt as he details both his successes and failures with his recertification effort experience from last year, with tips and recommendations on how to aid your certification/recertification efforts.
Presenter Bio: 
Matt Lowy currently serves as the Vice President of Communications for the PMI-MC Chapter. His 15 years of professional experience are complimented by advanced education in the project management, service management, and quality management fields. Mr. Lowy currently holds both the Certified Manager of Quality & Organization Excellence and the Certified Quality Auditor certifications from the American Society for Quality (ASQ)
