“Pitch Power ® : Craft an elevator pitch that tells a clear story”
Presenter: Ms. Maggy Sterner
Presenter Web Site:

Presentation Abstract:  (worth 1 PDU – Talent Triangle – Leadership)

Presentation Abstract:
You know how you’re a project manager and maybe you do something super technical or complicated? Or you feel anxious when you have to tell people what you do. You wish you just had simple, clear, truthful words to say that would help you connect better with potential clients, partners, or inside your own organization.
Having a simple, powerful, and compelling elevator pitch that simply and clearly
communicates what you do makes it easy for people to understand what you do
so it’s easier to do business.

Project Showcase

Topic: Project Management of Lab & Bio-Manufacturing Buildings – Challenges are Non-Linear to Project Size

Presenter: Ms. Ingrid Newman , PMP, MBA, MCR, BSc. Engineering
Presentation Summary:

In the biotech and life science industry, scale or size has a different meaning than in traditional industries. Product sizes may be on a milliliter or nano scale. While the products may be tiny, the facilities that produce the research and that ultimately manufacture the products are much larger in scale. In the same way, the project management challenges faced on smaller size and value projects are often out of proportion to similar larger projects for larger clients.

Ms. Newman will present examples of the project delivery process from Facility Logix’s Project Management perspective and will highlight the unique challenges of working on smaller projects for clients who may develop a new facility one in a lifetime.
