Presentation Abstract:  (worth 1 PDU – Talent Triangle – Technical Project Management)

Presentation Abstract:
The incidences of cyber security attacks continue to grow daily. The ubiquitous nature of cyber-attacks and social engineering makes it mandatory that everyone should be educated and informed. As a project manager, you should have a working knowledge of these issues and terminologies including malware, spyware, adware, scareware, spam, phishing, vishing, whaling, Trojan horse, virus, worm, crypto malware, Backdoor, key logger, DDoS, spoofing, dumpster diving, shoulder surfing, Ransomware and Chain of Custody.  A project manager should also be able to manage the plethora of projects involving data breaches, end user education, development of security policies and network hardening.

Many upcoming training opportunities are available and are located under Education.
